Silkscreen on aluminum sheet and fabric
This piece places two materials — fabric and aluminum — in dialogue. One side is a kilim-inspired textile, evoking the history of weaving as a deeply human craft. The other side mimics a motherboard, with its rigid, layered pathways and mechanical logic.
Both sides use patterns to store and communicate meaning. The piece highlights the shift from handcraft to the use of technology in the production and design of kilims today.
