Students are put into groups of three and everyone makes a work and sends it to someone in their group. “Swiped Weaves”
Combining screen print monotype, drawing fluid, and screen filler techniques, "Swiped Weaves" harmoniously merges a traditional Turkish art form with its contemporary interpretation. These printmaking methods intertwine the essence of Turkish wall hangings with my identity as an immigrant living in LA.
